Calgary Parking Authority outlines Snow Route parking policy

The Calgary Parking Authority has issued a courtesy notice highlighting its new Snow Route parking policy. The policy states that all vehicles parked on a designated Snow Route during a declared snow event are subject to ticketing and towing.
Snow Routes exist in all Calgary communities, and are marked by blue signs with white snowflakes. Calgarians who park along Snow Routes are encouraged to find alternate parking in a garage, underground parkade, surface lot or on secondary side streets during a Snow Route parking ban. The Calgary Parking Authority is offering customers complimentary overnight use of its parkades and surface lots during snow events.
