Earthquake in Japan – update on manufacturers

All of us are well aware of the devastating effects of the earthquake and tsunami in Japan. The employees at PHH Arval express their deepest concern and sympathy for the victims and their families who have been affected by this disaster.
PHH is in communication with our import manufacturers and will pass along updates as we receive them.
The updates we are receiving now from our import manufacturer partners include a consistent message that their first priority is the safety and well being of employees and their families. As a result, although most plants did not experience direct impact from the earthquake or the tsunami, some facilities will remain closed for a few more days out of respect for employees.
This chart outlines, by manufacturer, the current impact to production in both Japan and North America. At this time, the information available is limited while manufacturers continue to assess the ability to transport parts and vehicles via Japan’s damaged infrastructure.
