Toyota recalls vehicles for safety issue

Toyota Motor Corporation has recalled 1.13 million 2005-2008 model year Corolla sedans and Matrix hatchbacks in the U.S. and Canada for a flaw that may cause stalling “at any speed without warning.”

The recall follows at least three reported accidents linked to the defect, though Toyota said a link to the engine issue has not been confirmed. There have been no deaths or injuries related to the defect.

If your fleet has vehicles that are affected by this recall, your drivers will be notified.
