1/29 Update on both Toyota recalls

Faulty accelerator recall
Toyota has not yet released specific information on which vehicles are equipped with the faulty accelerator pedal. However, today in the U.S., Toyota announced to PHH that it will support fleet requests for alternative transportation when a driver’s vehicle is included in the accelerator pedal recall. Contact your PHH Account team for more information about the criteria and process.

Note that even if a client whose vehicles are impacted is not a VMA subscriber, VMA technicians will be available to help their drivers on this specific issue. These non-VMA drivers should contact VMA by calling 800 ONLY PHH and following the prompts to VMA.

List of vehicles on the faulty pedal / floor mat recalls
As you know, in addition to the faulty accelerator recall announced this week, Toyota announced a separate recall on floor mats in October and on Wednesday, expanded the list of vehicles that are affected. Following is a list of the vehicles that are affected under the two recalls:

*CTS pedal equipped = manufactured with the faulty accelerator pedal              ** Hybrids excluded
