GM recalls certain MY 2012 Chevrolet Impala vehicles

General Motors has announced a recall on certain MY 2012 Chevrolet Impala vehicles.
The Impala recall is a safety recall related to potential misrouting of a power steering hose, which could cause the catalytic converter to melt the hose and result in leaking power steering fluid and an engine compartment fire. Please note:
- Very few of PHH's vehicles were impacted by the Impala recall
- PHH clients have been contacted if they have a unit that is affected
GM also announced a recall of certain MY 2012 Buick LaCrosse vehicles for a non-safety issue. This is a noncompliance recall that could result in the failure of a warning light to illuminate. GM will send letters to drivers, who can schedule repairs at their convenience.
