Toyota updates its air bag sensor recall for RAV4 and Highlander vehicles

Toyota has issued an updated owner letter for safety recall B0E/B1E for certain 2007-2008 RAV4 and certain 2008 Highlander/Highlander HV vehicles. This recall pertains to the Curtain Shield Airbag (CSA) sensor.
Toyota has announced that it will now begin to mail the interim owner notification letter for B0E (“B1E” until the remedy is launched).
Once the remedy is available, Toyota will send a second owner notification by first class mailing advising owners to make an appointment with their authorized Toyota dealer to have the remedy performed at no charge.
