Toyota issues safety recall notice for certain 2008 through 2011 FJ Cruiser vehicles

Toyota has issued a safety recall notice for certain 2008 through 2011 model year FJ Cruiser vehicles with TRD Accessory Wheels and Toyota-recommend Light Truck (LT) tires that were installed on the vehicle at the time of new-vehicle sale.
When these tires were installed, the low tire pressure warning light was not set correctly. As a result, the light may not provide drivers with adequate warning that a tire is underinflated.
Please read the Safety Recall Notice from Toyota for more information. Toyota is notifying drivers of affected vehicles by letter, advising them to contact an authorized Toyota dealer for inspection and replacement of the tire pressure monitoring system.
