Chrysler fleet preview

Christyl Arrabal, PHH Arval Account Executive, attended the Chrysler fleet preview in Detroit at the end of May. Here are a few of her thoughts about her experience:

  • Chrysler is committed to re-engineering their business and product lines.
  • They acknowledged that a delay in production this year may cause challenges, but Chrysler wants to take time to develop and launch the right products for the marketplace.
  • Chrysler is focusing on developing greener products in the next few years.

Ride and Drive was a great event – we got to drive the fleet vehicle line-up for 2011. Here are a few highlights:

We drove the new Fiat 500, which I loved.  Very fun compact car to drive and I love the look and feel of it.  The new Jeep Grand Cherokee was very well constructed and drove like a luxury SUV. We took the Wranglers on an off-road course and felt like those vehicles could literally drive through anything.  Finally, Chrysler had professional drivers take us on the racecourse in either a Challenger or a Viper.  The guy driving the blue Challenger seemed to be the most aggressive so I waited for him.  What a ride - I could barely talk!  It was scary but very, very fun.
